THE PATH OF YOGA AND MEDITATION
We are not a sect, nor do we intend to become one.
We are many, and most of the time we know nothing about one another.
We meditate for the well-being of all and to sustain a baseline of coherence on our small planet.
We have no master or guide.
We want our freedom, and yours.
On our/your website, we provide ancient knowledge free of charge.
It has always been this way.
You can browse our website.
You can read the Yoga Sutras of Patanjali.
You can choose not to care, test the technique yourself for a while, and then simply move on.
Today, the mantra and the technique are accessible only to those willing to spend over a thousand euros just to get started.
This is because the traditional model of maintaining facilities and instructors now requires significant financial resources. As a result, many meditation schools increase their fees, stretching out the training and offering long, tedious courses to keep physical meditation centers running, effectively creating pseudo-places of worship. For us, meditation is an act of freedom and must remain so. The only center of worship should be yourself, through your own body and mind.
Others claim that without paying a high price, one will not take the teaching seriously.
By that logic, does anyone attending a public school fail to take education seriously, meaning one must attend an expensive private school to actually learn?
Or that knowledge must remain secret to stay untainted (?).
The truth is the exact opposite. Transparency allows for comparison and clarity in teaching a subject as diverse and exploratory as meditation.
We want meditation to be universal heritage, aligned with our Western values, and most importantly, part of your personal foundation. It should be accessible to you as well. We provide meditation training directly online to eliminate all associated costs.
We know from experience that the resources provided online to get started, practice, and learn “how it works” are entirely sufficient to help you become an accomplished meditator.
We believe meditation should not belong solely to an affluent elite simply because they have more financial means. That was the model for the past forty years; it is no longer the case.
Even if you have greater financial means, you can still acquire the mantra and technique at an accessible price, leaving your savings for other needs.
Your mantra and technique will serve as an enduring asset you carry with you, requiring no further additions.
You will never need to change either your mantra or your technique.
It remains permanent.
After three months of practice, you can enhance your mantra at no cost.
This enhancement is already detailed in the section “Advanced Technique“.
After six months of practice, you can proceed to the Course: The Argonaut/Siddhi and the Yoga Sutras.
Meditation using the Yoga Sutras simply activates dormant capabilities and provides the understanding required to apply them in daily life.
Siddhis develop fully only when conscious awareness (the transcendent state) operates at peak capability.
Through Open Meditation, this capacity is reached in a very short time.
You will always remain completely free and under no obligation to us.
Once you have your mantra and the introductory technique, you are free to lead your life as you see fit.
You owe nothing to anyone, with zero commitment toward any guru, teacher, or structured school (sect).
The Open Meditation website will remain available to support your practice whenever needed.
You can write to us at any time with questions, and we will answer thoroughly and directly.
With just 15 to 20 minutes a day, morning or afternoon, you will quickly develop a solid meditation practice and substantial physical well-being.
The most effective route to lasting, authentic autonomy.
Nothing more, nothing less.
Thank you
