Your Daily Routine: Finding 20 Minutes to Meditate

If throughout your day you cannot find 15 to 20 minutes to sit with closed eyes, you are definitely the person who needs meditation the most.

Analyze your daily routine: look at the time spent working, running errands, and the idle gaps in between. Look closely at the free time you have just before lunch or before dinner.

You easily have at least an hour where you wander through the labyrinth of your thoughts without even realizing what you are thinking about — daydreaming, spinning in circles, absorbing endless trivialities on a screen.

Or perhaps you spend that hour chatting about the weather, gossiping, or complaining about politics, pretending to solve world problems while judging others — as if any of us alone holds the master key to life.

If after honest reflection you still “cannot find the time,” consider checking in with a trusted psychotherapist. It can genuinely help you realize how disconnected we become when lost in the frantic rush of time.

Much of our anxiety stems from the rigid labels we identify with: “I am a genius… I am a failure… I am a doctor / worker / entrepreneur… I am Italian / American / French…” Every label feeds the ego-intellect, inflating it like a balloon.

The intellect is an infinite reservoir of memories — conditioned by schools, family, news, social media, and culture. Its primary fuel is identification. What would the intellect be without identification? That fear of losing the “I” is our deepest habit, keeping us trapped until we finally choose to break the loop.

Can you break the loop without going crazy? Absolutely. There are zero negative consequences when you uncouple the intellect from rigid ego-attachment. When the ego steps back, the mind is no longer imprisoned. It reveals its full creative potential, and memory expands into universal clarity.

What anchors and balances our emotions and physical senses? Pure intelligence. Intelligence governs the body-mind, shows us the self-made prison of the ego, and allows us to dissolve false identifications peacefully.

And what sustains intelligence? Consciousness. Consciousness is simply the awareness of Being. To be or not to be — that is the timeless question. And how do we experience Being directly? Through meditation. Meditation is the direct technology of Being.

That is all for today.

Thank you.
